I’m not sure whether I’m criticising client-side or agency marketers here, or both. Either way, I’m looking to prompt marketers to think differently about their priorities.
Do you agree with my take on priorities?
This is my presentation to Prolific North Live in February 2016. I wanted it to be a little different from my usual presentation on Digital Marketing Trends…
Great presentation on Tuesday, Dave. Thanks for making it available, some valuable tips.

Frankly I am fascinated by the fact that many companies act like having a digital strategy is some sort of pipe dream it baffles me. I see it like the Kodak mentality we have always done it that way. However we see no reason to change because our existing moat could never deteriorate.

To me such a strategy is an absolute must have. My statement was in regard to the fact many companies seem to be less concerned about digital than they need to be which frankly I find shocking.

An awesome read indeed!
Doesn’t it resembles to Marketing Myopia by Theodore Levitt?
We can rather coin it as Digital Myopia for the involved organizations.
